Celebrate the Holiday Season at Home in Denver!

Planning the holiday season with your family? Can’t seem to find much to do or events to attend?

FEAR NOT!

We’ve found a list of ways to celebrate the holidays in Denver! Before you browse, allow us to recommend some of our favorites…

 

“A Christmas Carol” – Based on the famous novel by Charles Dickens, this family-friendly musical will be presented at The Stage Theatre Nov. 28-Dec. 28

 

Southwest Rink – Bring your own skates or rent some for $2 and take a free spin on the outdoor ice rink, open daily Nov. 25-Feb. 16. Also, there will be free lessons Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to noon and Saturdays from 8 to 10 a.m.

 

Georgetown Christmas Market – Free entertainment, a visit to Santa, roasted chestnuts, horse-drawn wagon rides and more, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 6-7 and Dec. 13-14 when you visit this outdoors European market. Make it a Christmas tradition!

 

“BALLS! VI: A Holiday Spectacular” – Join in on the fun in the audience when you receive a sock puppet at this holiday variety show that also showcases games and sing-alongs.

 

Hammond’s Candy Cane Festival – Admission is free! Santa and Mrs. Claus, cookie decorating, mini tours, a bounce house, horse-drawn carriage rides, face painting, crafts and holiday shopping are included. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 12 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 13.

 

The Polar Express Train Ride – It’s definitely what you are thinking… a chance to relive the magical journey from famous children’s book!
